Job Responsibilities

• Show proficiency in managing a register/POS system to handle various forms of transactions, including cash and credit.
• Welcome customers warmly and offer support while predicting their requirements
• Verify the cash drawer balance, document transactions on the cashier slip, and deposit the funds into the bank account
• Adheres to Aramark's protocols and regulations for the proper handling of cash transactions
• Gain familiarity with the merchandise for sale to support customers and ensure transactions are processed correctly
• Undertake the specified steps for both opening and closing duties in line with the unit's scheduled operational hours
• Preserve a sterile and orderly work atmosphere while attending to customers and when finishing the shift.
• Keep product supplies at the recommended levels in the designated area and replenish as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures

Qualifications

• Candidates with previous customer service background are favored
• Experience in dealing with cash transactions is preferred
• Adequate skills in basic math operations and numerical counting are needed
• Skilled in working autonomously and managing responsibilities independently
• Follow the guidelines by engaging in the Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings mandated for the particular location

Physical demands associated with this position may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking and standing. The role may also require the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
