Job Responsibilities

• Expertly manage cash and credit payments through precise operation of a register/POS terminal.
• Extend greetings and assistance to customers by foreseeing their needs
• Sort and total the cash in the drawer, complete the cashier log, and make the required bank deposits
• Adheres to Aramark's protocols and regulations for the proper handling of cash transactions
• Understand the inventory of products to be able to assist customers and process transactions accurately
• Conduct the designated opening and closing responsibilities as specified for the unit’s operating hours
• Establish and enforce a standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the day and at the end of each shift.
• Ensure the products in the location are well-stocked and replenish items as needed to maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures for a secure environment

Qualifications

• Preference is for candidates who have prior experience in customer service
• Preference is given to candidates with previous exposure to handling cash
• Proficiency in rudimentary math skills and numerical counting is necessary
• Capable of independently managing workload and functioning with minimal guidance
• Ensure compliance with location-based standards by completing the essential Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings

This job may entail physical demands like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. It may also involve the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
