Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competence in handling cash and credit card transactions by accurately operating a register/POS system.
• Engage with clients in a welcoming manner and assist them by anticipating their needs
• Do a cash drawer tally, organize and reconcile the cash, fill in the cashier document, and make bank deposits
• Ensures compliance with Aramark's policies and procedures for managing cash transactions
• Acquire knowledge about the merchandise available for sale to assist customers and process transactions with precision
• Adhere to the allocated opening and closing tasks according to the operational hours of the unit
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards from start to finish, including at the end of the shift.
• Maintain appropriate product levels in the assigned location and restock as required to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures

Qualifications

• Having worked in customer service before is a plus for applicants
• Previous involvement in cash management is recommended
• A foundational understanding of math and counting principles is vital
• Skilled in working autonomously and managing responsibilities independently
• Adhere to location-mandated regulations by finishing the requisite Food Handler and Alcohol Service programs

Physical demands associated with this role may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking and standing. Additionally, this position may require the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
